Our small team consisting of Christine Glissert from Australia. From the USA are Elijah Packard, Benjamin Troyer, and Rev Daniel Kwon, Grace and I are standing at the entrance of the Orphan/Visitor House. Pastor Aaron Lagani also is standing with us as well as a surprise friend Paul from Minnesota. I met Paul at Dr Rick Bass's funeral service and was happy to welcome him to join us since he was already in the Solomon Islands on a ministry trip!

Dear friends, our weekend "Grand Opening" dedication service for the Fa'arau, Solomon Islands Orphan/Visitor was overwhelming! Superintendent Stephan of the SSEC Church region on Malaita was the guest of honor. He shared the Word of God at the Saturday night service declaring the Fa'arau HOP and Orphan/Visitor house a place of refuge! Also involved in the dedication service were several Solomon Island governmental officials including the Deputy Primere of Malaita. I was honored to share the Word of God both Friday night and Sunday morning. Approx. 20 Pastors from various Churches also attended!

Photo #1 is the completed Orphan/Visitor House: On Friday night I shared about prayer birthing the numerous miracles of provision from 2011 through it's completion in 2017. Then I shared the vision of how this beautiful facility shall be used. Our vision to provide refuge for widows and orphans. Also to rescue troubled youth who are addicted to drugs and alcohol and train them up to serve in the Fa'arau House of Prayer. It will be used to host conferences for Pastor's, Women's ministry and youth group retreats. We have invited YWAM to use this facility when evangelizing on the Island of Malaita. We also believe international intercessors will come to serve the Fa'arau HOP for 3 month externships!

Photo #3 is Elijah Packard leading worship. Both Friday & Saturday we gathered from 7 pm - 6 am. The weather is so hot during the day so the first two days we chose to meet just at night. The locals told me that they loved Elijah's voice and gift of leading worship. Sunday at 6:15 am after Elijah spending the entire night in prayer and worship made this comment to me. He said "Rick that was the best night of my life!"

Photo #4 is myself preaching on Sunday morning December 10th. My message was from Ezek. 44:15. I emphasized the Solomon Islanders redemptive gift is there beautiful voices! I challenged them to be a kingdom of priests who first and foremost are called to minister to the Lord with their singing & beautiful worship. I concluded with the Isaiah 62:6 passage that God is setting His watchmen who will give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem as a praise in the earth. At the conclusion the people responded by coming to the alter to recommit their lives to join Jesus in day & night intercession. The Holy Spirit moved and I noticed many people at the alter with tears flowing!

Photo's 5 & 6 show the Solomon Islanders in attendance. This was an outdoor event. On Sunday we marveled that God provided perfect weather. It did not rain but the skies were cloudy and with the slight breeze it was much cooler than normal.

Photo # 7 is the official ribbon cutting and opening of the Orphan/Visitor House. Pastor Aaron arranged for Superintendent Stephan of the SSEC Church, the Deputy Primere of Malaita Honorable Alick, and myself to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Photo # 8 & 9 are the three of us participating in the ribbon cutting and ground breaking ceremony for construction of the new Fa'arau House of Prayer which will be located right next to the Orphan/Visitor House.

Photo's 10, 11, & 12 show you the kitchen preparing to feed everyone in attendance, Over the three days of celebration a total of 32 pigs, 2 beef cows, 100 chickens, 30 bags of rice (40 pound each), a truck load of sweet potatoes, and lots of water melons, pineapples.

Photo # 13 shows you Dr Grace helping many people in her "Free for the Poor" medical clinic. I witnessed many healings as we worked together in her first clinic! It has been amazing to see Grace embrace the people in the Solomon Islands! God has ambushed her heart!

Photo # 14 show the gift of a new kingdom business at Fa'arau. Rev Kwon designed and installed at Fa'arau Orphan/Visitor House the first bottled drinking water plant on the Island of Malaita. Fa'arau is now able to sell bottled water wholesale to shops in Auki. This is another huge answer to prayer. The water from this 10 stage filter system is free to everyone staying at the Orphan/Visitor House. It is also free for everyone living in Fa'arau.

Our Clean Water 4 Life ministry has now completed 95 water wells in 2017. Jesus said that if we give them a cup of cold water in His name that we will not lose our reward! I never get tired of sharing these amazing testimonies and miracles! Remember there are no roads nor electricity on many of these remote Islands. Our two tractor well drilling rigs are the perfect answer to bringing these isolated poor people clean drinking water for the first time in their lives!

Clean Water 4 Life can offer you a tax deductible receipt for donations if from Canada, USA, and Australia. Contact me if you have any questions and I will direct you with the information you need.

Please keep praying for $100,000.00 in order to provide 50 more water well projects in the Solomon Islands to be installed in the next three months. Plus our expansion to rescue the poor in Vanuatu who need clean drinking water will require an additional $50,000.00 I'm praying for a third tractor well drilling rig!

With all my heart I believe together we can bring hope to the thirsty ones in the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu. Contact me if you have any questions.
